About the Role

Catalent is a global pharmaceutical company seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at our Bathgate facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our Fast Chain Hub, ensuring seamless supply chain operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Fast Chain Hub process, executing root cause investigations for failures within the supply chain.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in areas such as study setup, demand planning, S&OP, scheduling, incoming goods receipt, Clinicopia, iDS system function, iRelease system function, batch record execution/requirements, overall production process, and overall distribution process.

  • Oversee all packaging, labeling, and distribution execution within the Hub process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, vendors, project management, planning, technical services, pre-production, label control, quality, and receiving/shipping.

  • Implement lean manufacturing practices and/or six sigma practices to increase productivity and decrease downtime.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, clinical teams, investigator sites, physicians, third-party depots, and internal stakeholders.

  • Direct and supervise employee work activities, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity.

Requirements

  • Strong functional knowledge of clinical supply processes.

  • Proven experience in clinical, contract, or production environments, preferably in pharmaceutical packaging and manufacturing.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise professional, technical associates, peers, and non-direct reporting staff.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, including JDEdwards, SAP, Fusion, Clinicopia, and other platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of cGMPs and applicable country, state, and local regulations.

  • Leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
