Job Description

Role: Data Architect

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing data models to meet the strategic data needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis and interpret trends and patterns to provide business benefits.
  • Manage data governance and ensure that data architecture aligns with organizational governance structures.
  • Explore new and efficient ways of deriving value from data.
  • Maintain documentation and provide training on data designs.
  • Develop and maintain data models and data systems for Smart Building IoT platforms and existing building management solutions.
  • Collect, collate, and analyze data from various applications.
  • Create meaningful presentations of data and show tangible outcomes.
  • Translate data into valuable insights that inform business decisions.
  • Optimize and document technical aspects of data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot data model and system problems.

Requirements:

  • Experience with data pipeline development, application development, and programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL scripting.
  • Excellent understanding of APIs and integrations.
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and data warehouse design.
  • Great numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of metadata management and building ontologies.
  • Knowledge of data integration concepts and patterns.
  • Understanding of object-oriented languages and paradigms.
  • Excellent understanding of application architecture and corporate workplace technology.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems and DevOps processes.
