Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the development of our Level 2 and Level 3 Adventure Education provision at Plumpton College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Adventure and Sport topics to students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to support student achievement and progression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum programs that meet the needs of students and industry partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and clients to create opportunities for students.
  • Contribute to the development of the Adventure Education provision, including curriculum design, resource development, and quality assurance.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to help them maximize their potential and achieve their career goals.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in Outdoor Education or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to gain a teaching qualification.
  • High levels of recent industry experience in Adventure Education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
