About the Role

NHS Sussex ICB is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the transformation of discharge pathways from our services back into the community. This 12-month role will provide programme leadership and development/oversight of the workstreams that take us through transition into our longer-term outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the discharge transformation programme
  • Provide programme leadership and development/oversight of the workstreams
  • Lead the strategic development of the system to enable the establishment of clinically led provider collaboratives
  • Establish a single strategic commissioning function across NHS Sussex
  • Standardise unwarranted variation in commissioning practice

Requirements

  • Experience of planning and delivering programmes and projects on time
  • Experience of operating at a senior level
  • Developed communication skills for delivering key messages to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to use informed persuasion to influence others
  • Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions
