Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Induction Manager and Facilitator to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating our Induction training programme, ensuring that all new starters receive a comprehensive and engaging introduction to our organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality Induction training sessions, tailored to meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers to design and deliver bespoke Induction programmes.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on Induction training requirements and best practices.
  • Manage the New Starters Guide to UHSussex and ensure that all Induction information is regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Design and develop specialist Induction programmes, including Consultant Induction.
  • Monitor and review completion of online Induction and ensure that all new starters complete their Induction training within one month of commencing work.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative learning opportunities throughout the service, including Simulation Fellows and Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL).

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Qualified to degree level.
  • Experience of designing and delivering Induction or engagement programmes.
  • Experience of planning and organising Induction training.
  • Experience of supervising staff.
  • Good Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
