About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Lead Occupational Therapist for Mental Health, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs for patients with mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with patients with mental health conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
