Services Offered:

Just Checking System: Utilizing compact wireless sensors strategically placed within homes, Just Checking generates a comprehensive overview of daily activities. This data aids professionals in delivering support that is tailored to individual needs, fostering person-centered care and helping individuals maintain their independence.

Managed Service: Just Checking provides a Managed Service that ensures thorough management of the Just Checking system by integrating within local authorities to fully implement the technology. Our specialists are responsible for system installations, promoting awareness, analyzing data, and supplying practitioners with essential information for informed, evidence-based care decisions.

Just Roaming: This is a personalized, long-term real-time monitoring and alert system that empowers adults with learning disabilities and autism to live independently within supported living environments. Support staff receive notifications through the Just Roaming app, allowing them to respond effectively while enhancing privacy and independence for residents.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, real-time monitoring, and removal of activity monitoring systems, contributing to data analysis and summary reports.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery and promote effective usage of our systems.
  • Manage the setup, data collection, and deinstallation of Just Checking/Just Roaming monitoring systems in various settings.
  • Understand the specific outcomes required for each installation, adapting practices to meet individual needs and sensitivities.
  • Enhance engagement through training and awareness sessions, providing information to individuals, caregivers, families, and professionals.
  • Collaborate with relevant professionals, caregivers, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and address any arising issues.
  • Assist individuals in comprehending the technology and process, offering reassurance throughout the installation phase.
  • Support professionals in interpreting and translating data.
  • Work alongside Just Checking technical staff to maintain operational installations that meet individual needs and objectives.
  • Provide training to users of the system and the app for effective utilization.
  • Engage with social workers, occupational therapists, assistive technology teams, care providers, and families.

Candidate Profile:

  • Comfortable working in adult social care environments, with empathy for the needs of those receiving support, ideally possessing experience in care delivery for older adults or individuals with learning disabilities/autism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and articulate communication, suitable for diverse audiences, including those with communication challenges.
  • Practical skills for equipment installation in various properties (no electrical work or power tools required unless training is provided).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Adept at analyzing data to identify patterns and anomalies.
  • Accurate recording and reporting skills, with proficient written communication.
  • Good IT skills, confident in navigating various systems and databases, with practical knowledge of Google Suite/Office.
  • Experience in a social care role is advantageous.
  • A relevant qualification for this role is desirable.
  • Must hold a full valid driving license, with access to a vehicle for travel across the designated region.

Note: Successful candidates will be required to pass Enhanced DBS and PVG checks.
