Services Offered:

Just Checking System: Utilizing compact wireless sensors strategically placed within homes, Just Checking generates a comprehensive overview of daily activities. This data aids professionals in delivering support that accurately reflects individual needs, fostering person-centered care and promoting independence.

Managed Service: Just Checking provides a Managed Service that ensures thorough management of the Just Checking system by integrating within local authorities to fully implement the technology. Our specialists handle system installations, raise awareness, analyze data, and furnish practitioners with the insights necessary for informed, evidence-based care decisions.

Just Roaming: This is a personalized, real-time monitoring and alert system designed for adults with learning disabilities and autism, facilitating independent and safe living within supported environments. Support staff receive alerts through the Just Roaming app, enabling them to respond effectively, thus enhancing privacy and independence for individuals at home.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, real-time monitoring, and removal of activity monitoring systems; contribute to data analysis and summary reports.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and promote effective utilization of our systems.
  • Manage the setup, data collection, and deinstallation of Just Checking/Just Roaming monitoring systems in various settings.
  • Understand the specific outcomes required for each installation, adapting practices to meet the unique needs and sensitivities of each user.
  • Encourage engagement through training and awareness sessions, providing informational resources to individuals, caregivers, families, and professionals.
  • Collaborate with relevant professionals, caregivers, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and address any issues promptly.
  • Assist individuals in comprehending the technology and processes, offering reassurance throughout the installation phase.
  • Support professionals in interpreting and translating data effectively.
  • Work closely with Just Checking technical staff to maintain operational installations that align with individual needs and objectives.
  • Provide training to users of the system and the app for effective usage.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in adult social care environments, demonstrating empathy towards individuals receiving support, preferably with experience in caring for older adults or adults with learning disabilities/autism.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and articulate communication abilities suitable for diverse audiences, including those with communication challenges.
  • Practical skills for installing equipment in various properties (no electrical work or power tools required unless training is provided).
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adept at analyzing data to identify patterns and anomalies within large datasets.
  • Accurate recording and reporting skills, with proficiency in written communication.
  • Good IT skills, with confidence in navigating various systems and databases, and practical knowledge of Google Suite / Office.
  • Experience in a social care role is advantageous.
  • A relevant qualification for this role is desirable.
  • Must hold a valid driving license, with daily access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the designated region.

Note: Successful candidates will be required to pass Enhanced DBS and PVG checks.
