Veterinary HR Business Consultant

Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned and flexible HR Business Partner to join a prominent provider in the veterinary services sector, focusing on the Northwest region.

Role Purpose: The ideal candidate will be a self-assured and dynamic HRBP, tasked with supporting operational and leadership teams throughout the Northwest. As this support structure is relatively new, many processes, policies, and initiatives are still in the developmental phase, making this an opportune moment to join and influence the organization positively. Building relationships, establishing trust, and possessing strong influencing skills will be crucial, particularly when collaborating with leaders from clinical backgrounds.

Reporting Structure: This role will report directly to the Head of People while maintaining close collaboration with the Regional Director, Area Managers, and Area Support Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and influence business leaders on people and business-related issues, leveraging data and analytics to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Utilize data analytics effectively and promptly to provide insights that support sound decision-making and interventions across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Talent Partners to ensure effective workforce forecasting, planning, and mobilization through robust attraction strategies.
  • Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the growth strategy by identifying people-related unique selling propositions (USPs) and challenges, along with actionable solutions.
  • Coach leaders to make decisions that positively impact colleague engagement and retention through active listening and effective engagement strategies.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • Capability to coach leaders in effective people management practices.
  • Experience in a multi-site operational environment.
  • Willingness to engage in both hands-on and strategic activities as required.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing circumstances.

Work Arrangement: This position is fully remote; however, it is essential for the successful candidate to reside in the Northwest region.
