About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Policy Vice President to join our team at Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. As a key member of our Liquidity Risk team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our $412 billion balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently Review and Challenge Liquidity Risk management processes to ensure they are robust and effective.
  • Owning the Liquidity Risk Limit Framework to ensure it is aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Reviewing and Evaluating Liquidity Risk aspects of significant new products, services, business process changes, and entity structures, acquisitions, and divestitures.

You will work closely with our Treasury Risk functions, Risk & Compliance functions, and other stakeholders to ensure that our Liquidity Risk management framework is aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of total work experience with 6-10 years of experience in market or liquidity risk preferred. Experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Background in math, statistics, finance, economics, risk management, operations research, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of funding, cash flow projections, deposits (including operational and behavioral views), liquidity measures, liquidity stress testing, and relevant regulation (e.g., CLAR/ILAAP, LCR, NSFR, Recovery and Resolution Planning / RRP) is preferred.
