Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) to join a leading global engineering Automation business.

Competitive Salary: £55,000

Working DAYS (shift 4/4)

Every 5th week (8/9 times Per Year) 6 nights on a 2 on/2 off Rota

The Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) will also have opportunities to gain Certified Training, Continuous Development plus a Progressive career path.

The right candidate will support the maintenance schedule and fault rectification activities within a site-based team environment within a purpose-built automation site-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out equipment servicing to the schedules
  • To complete scheduled repairs according to the recommendations
  • Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults and repairs
  • Proactively react to any system faults
  • Health & Safety legislation
  • Maintain the flow at all times
  • Ensure on-site spares are kept to the required level
Requirements:
  • The successful Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) will ideally have previous experience in an FMCG environment (Electrical/Mechanical).
  • NVQ 3 or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualified
