About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Contact Centre Officer to join our team at Essex Police. As a Contact Centre Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the public, responding to calls, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to calls and emails from the public, providing accurate and helpful information
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Essex Police policies and procedures
Requirements
- GCSE in English at grade C or above, or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience of working within a call centre or customer service environment
- Ability to learn and use a variety of computer-based systems
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including evenings and weekends
