Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead its commercial and contract management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of contracts and commissioning arrangements, directly supporting the Trust's portfolio of contracts as a provider and commissioner of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and implement effective performance management arrangements for all contracts and business activities, producing regular reports for senior management.
- Ensure that all procurement and contracting activities are carried out in accordance with legislation, health policies, and procedures, and principles of good practice, including ethics and probity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including providers, commissioners, and other key partners.
- Support the Directorates in reviewing the performance of contracted services, ensuring they are regularly monitored and reviewed to ensure services are effective, meet statutory requirements, and deliver desired outcomes.
- Ensure actions from performance meetings are logged and followed through to completion with operational and management teams.
- Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years NHS experience at a senior level, with experience of contract negotiations and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
