Commercial Contract Executive

Mcxtend is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Executive to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and maintaining our standard commercial contracts portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the Company and its subsidiaries in multiple jurisdictions.
  2. Draft and review commercial contracts, including identifying and mitigating risk.
  3. Provide input to and negotiate acceptable terms in non-standard commercial contracts.
  4. Assess and address non-standard technical and commercial risks relating to bids.
  5. Support the Bid Team with writing tender responses, particularly commercial elements.
  6. Work with the Senior Bid Engineering Manager to define and recommend winning bid strategies.
  7. Support Finance to ensure the suitability of performance bonds, bank guarantees, and parent company guarantees.
Requirements

Law degree (desirable)

Experience
  1. Extensive experience working as a Contracts Manager or Commercial Manager.
  2. Experience running or working in/with a bid/commercial team.
  3. Experience managing external legal advisers.
Skills
  1. Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
  2. Effective contract and bid writing skills.
  3. Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing.
  4. Flexible.
