The Role: Night Shift Supervisor

As a Night Shift Supervisor within our Resources & Energy division at Ford, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our waste treatment facility.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff during night shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise daily operations, including the monitoring and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production teams, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify areas for enhancement or potential risks.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure smooth operational performance and address any challenges effectively.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to production activities and safety compliance.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing and supervising teams within a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices (IOSH certification is desirable).
  • Knowledge of ISO accreditation requirements and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams.
