Actemium Mechanical Business Unit Administrator

Actemium Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Unit Administrator to join our rapidly growing Mechanical Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the administration functions within the Business Unit, providing an excellent and consistent administrative service to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the administration function within the Business Unit, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Unit General Manager and team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Liaise with the Business Unit Finance Team to ensure compliance with internal control requirements and reporting obligations.
- Manage administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the Business Unit Finance Team with tasks such as purchase orders, GRNs, and processing of purchase invoices.
- Process weekly timesheets to support the Central Payroll function.
- Assist with new starter paperwork and maintenance of HR Records.
- Track annual leave and sickness within the Business Unit.
- Provide HR support, including record updating and assisting with new starter paperwork.
- Control office supplies and ordering.
- Debtors support.
- Asset register control.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative background with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong IT skills, with experience in using SAP systems an advantage.
- Previous experience working in a project-based environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
