Actemium Mechanical Business Unit Administrator

Actemium Mechanical is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Unit Administrator to join our rapidly growing Mechanical Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Business Unit, providing exceptional support to our General Manager and team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the administration function within the Business Unit, ensuring a high level of service to employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Support the Business Unit Finance Team in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative and office support to aid the smooth running of the Business Unit.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of data and transactions in accordance with group and general accounting rules.
- Assist with new starter paperwork, maintenance of HR records, and tracking of annual leave and sickness within the Business Unit.
- Provide HR support, including record updating and assisting with new starter paperwork.
- Control office supplies and ordering, and maintain and retrieve company records in appropriate filing systems.
- Strong administrative background with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Previous experience working in a project-based environment is desirable.
