Job Summary

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Teacher to support local schools in their educational endeavors.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Education Support Professional to join our team. As a Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons to ensure high-quality educational experiences for students.
  • Assist with classroom management, including supervising students, maintaining a safe and organized learning environment, and promoting positive behavior.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs, resources, and materials that align with the school's curriculum and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including those with special educational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Valid QTS or PGCE is a must.
  • A flexible and confident individual, who has a creative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
