Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Location: Hillingdon, West London

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN and complex learning difficulties in a dynamic learning environment
  • Work alongside teachers to provide individualized support and care to students
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation to ensure students receive a tailored education
  • Provide personal care and support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Good educational background (CACHE L3 or above)
  • Desire to work with students with moderate and complex learning difficulties
  • Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Positive attitude and sense of humor
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
