Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. As an Autism Support Worker (ASD), you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a mainstream primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist assigned SEN students with their educational and personal needs
- Monitor students' responses to educational activities and provide constructive feedback
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Relevant degree from a reputable University (2.1 or above)
- Previous experience working with children with ASD (minimum 6 months)
- Strong academic background and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
