Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cardiac Catheter Lab professional to lead our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the effective management of our Cardiac Catheter Labs and recovery area, providing holistic care to elective cases and inpatients.

Main Responsibilities

As the Cardiac Catheter Lab Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent clinical leadership skills to ensure high standards of care and patient safety
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Catheter Labs and recovery area
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery
  • Collaborating with the Matron, Head of Nursing, and Operational Managers to deliver evidence-based care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience as a band 6 within Cardiac Catheter Lab
  • Substantial experience within Acute cardiology area
  • Evidence of professional development since qualification
  • Proven track record of leading a team
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
