Position Overview:

The Materials Assessment Coordinator at Zoetis Lincoln Manufacturing Site plays a pivotal role in managing processes related to new materials and supplier changes. This position requires close collaboration with Procurement Category Leaders to enhance and oversee change processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead meetings for the Materials Evaluation Committee
  • Oversee the complete change control process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of change controls

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in a procurement support role or direct involvement in manufacturing, packaging, or quality assurance
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical abilities
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Ariba is advantageous

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Adheres to established procurement policies
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Proficient technical writing skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based work with occasional standing and walking
  • Compliance with gowning and PPE requirements in manufacturing zones
