Job Summary

Zoetis is seeking a highly skilled Material Evaluation Coordinator to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the dynamic processes related to new and changes in materials and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Material Evaluation Committee (MEC) meetings, driving cross-functional collaboration among team members.
  • Ensure meetings are well-organized, productive, and aligned with the objectives of the committee.
  • Manage actions resulting from MEC meetings, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of tasks and escalation where necessary.
  • Oversee the comprehensive change control process, overseeing both new and changes in materials and suppliers utilized by the Lincoln site.
  • Utilize the Trackwise system (ETS) to create and manage change control records efficiently.
  • Ensure tracking and documentation, guaranteeing compliance with project timelines.
  • Initiate and coordinate the request for qualification samples from suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related business/technical field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in supporting a professional procurement department or direct experience in manufacturing, packaging, or quality operations in a GMP environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills when needed for business issues.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook), Excel expertise a plus.
  • Experience in ERP or Purchase to Pay system, SAP and Ariba knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Shows attention to detail. Excellent Data Entry skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires sitting, standing, and walking with occasional work outside of normal work schedule to meet critical deadlines. Must wear appropriate gowning and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in manufacturing/production areas.
