Job Summary

Zoetis is seeking a highly skilled Material Evaluation Coordinator to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the dynamic processes related to new and changes in materials and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Material Evaluation Committee (MEC) to drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure effective change control implementation.
  • Oversee the comprehensive change control process, including new and changes in materials and suppliers, to guarantee compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Category Leaders and internal stakeholders to streamline and manage change processes effectively.
  • Utilize the Trackwise system to create and manage change control records efficiently.
  • Ensure alignment with the defined scope by the Material Evaluation Committee (MEC) and initiate and coordinate the request for qualification samples from suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing, packaging, or quality operations in a GMP environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and show attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in ERP or Purchase to Pay systems, and knowledge of Zoetis Manufacturing and Packaging Operations.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and follow established procedures.
