Job Title: Deputy Children's Manager

As a seasoned professional in Ofsted Residential Care, you will play a crucial role in the management and direction of multiple homes across London.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee the service's existing workforce and resources, ensuring the welfare of the young people in our care.
  2. To support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of the young people.
  3. To undertake direct work with young people as appropriate.
  4. To be the responsible person in managing child protection concerns and complaints.
  5. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
  6. To ensure that resources are allocated appropriately, and financial records are accurately maintained.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ 3 / Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  2. Team Building and Supervision Skills.
  3. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  4. Understanding the needs of young people who have experienced trauma, including managing challenging behaviors.
