About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Customer Acquisition at AJ Bell Management Limited. This is a strategically senior role that requires a deep understanding of customer marketing and acquisition strategies in a digital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a customer acquisition strategy that aligns with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with our Brand team to maximize new funded customer conversions and drive business growth.
  • Lead the development and deployment of customer communications strategies that provide clear and accurate information to our customers.
  • Manage and motivate a team of customer marketing professionals to achieve agreed customer acquisition and cross-sell targets.
  • Analyse customer behaviour trends and present insights to our executive management and Board.
  • Own the relationship with our media buying agency and ensure effective deployment of marketing spend.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with our Brand, Product, Strategic Partnerships, and Strategic Planning & Governance teams.
  • Collaborate with our Strategic Partnerships team to develop customer pricing and retention strategies.
  • Support the business in delivering good outcomes for our retail customers by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to acquire customers effectively in a heavily regulated environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of customer marketing techniques in a digital marketing setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results against agreed budget envelopes.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with external parties.
  • Effective management of internal relationships across both D2C and Advised platforms.
  • Ability to anticipate trends in customer needs.
  • Excellent statistical knowledge and ability to communicate complex data effectively.
  • Strategic planning skills.
