Position Overview: Literacy Educator

Compensation: £36,300 Per annum

We are collaborating with a specialized educational institution that supports young individuals with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. They are seeking a Literacy Educator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for students facing SEMH challenges.
  • Offer personalized support and mentorship to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Create lesson plans and educational resources aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and families to promote student achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant teaching certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrable teaching experience with references available.
  • Experience in supporting students with additional learning needs.
