Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our students, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level support to teachers and students in the classroom, including lesson planning and delivery, and one-to-one support for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the management of classroom behavior and provide guidance to students on behavior and social skills.
  • Support the development of students' academic and personal skills, including literacy and numeracy, and provide feedback to students on their progress.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide administrative support to teachers and other staff members as needed.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and experience of working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Transportation to and from the school.
