About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MSK physiotherapist to join our developing physiotherapy primary care service in Dumfries and Galloway. As an MSK Advanced Practice Physiotherapist in Primary Care, you will work within the Primary Care Team as an Advanced Practitioner to impact patient care at the first point of presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical practice, education, and research initiatives to enhance patient care and service development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient pathways and flow across health and social care services.
  • Provide specialist MSK clinical skills and knowledge to support patients with MSK conditions and differential diagnosis.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and collaborative team working across various services in the region.
Requirements
  • Highly specialist MSK clinical skills and knowledge of MSK conditions and differential diagnosis.
  • A high level of awareness of MSK patient access, pathways within NHS, and flow across health and social care services.
  • Postgraduate training and experience relevant to MSK Physiotherapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
