About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced MSK physiotherapist to join our developing physiotherapy primary care service in Dumfries & Galloway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as an Advanced Practitioner within the Primary Care Team to impact patient care at the first point of presentation.
  • Develop and enhance physiotherapy services in GP practices, improving access to expertise in MSK conditions.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement service improvements, quality initiatives, and collaborative working across health and social care services.
  • Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy service, including education, research, and leadership opportunities.
Requirements
  • Highly specialist MSK clinical skills and knowledge of MSK conditions and differential diagnosis.
  • A high level of awareness of MSK patient access, pathways within NHS, and flow across health and social care services.
  • Postgraduate training and experience relevant to MSK Physiotherapy.
  • An interest in being part of service development, quality improvement, and collaborative team working.
