We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced MSK physiotherapist to join our developing physiotherapy primary care service in Dumfries & Galloway.
Key Responsibilities- Work as an Advanced Practitioner within the Primary Care Team to impact patient care at the first point of presentation.
- Develop and enhance physiotherapy services in GP practices, improving access to expertise in MSK conditions.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement service improvements, quality initiatives, and collaborative working across health and social care services.
- Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy service, including education, research, and leadership opportunities.
- Highly specialist MSK clinical skills and knowledge of MSK conditions and differential diagnosis.
- A high level of awareness of MSK patient access, pathways within NHS, and flow across health and social care services.
- Postgraduate training and experience relevant to MSK Physiotherapy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Dedicated non-clinical time for clinical practice, education, leadership, and research and development.
