About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to pupils with SEN, promoting their learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist with the delivery of interventions and programs designed to support pupils with SEN.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and engagement of all pupils.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of support and intervention programs for SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, nurturing, and kind approach to supporting pupils.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
