SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary school in Lydney. As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their learning and well-being
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment, promoting respect and understanding

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with SEN pupils, preferably in a Primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to promoting the well-being and learning of pupils with SEN
