About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SENCO to join our team on a part-time basis, working closely with the senior leadership team to lead the Special Needs provision across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans, ensuring effective communication with parents, outside agencies, and support teams.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of pupil progress and needs, ensuring seamless collaboration with teachers and support staff.
  • Lead annual reviews, providing expert guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
  • Provide specialist support and training to teachers and support staff, enhancing their confidence and competence in meeting the needs of pupils.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with parents, outside agencies, and support teams, ensuring a collaborative approach to pupil support.
