About the Role

GGB - Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Global Aviation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts from initial contact through to renewal, providing exceptional client service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, including gathering information and instructions from clients, discussing renewal terms, and preparing policy quotes and documentation.
  • Provide proactive and responsive client service, including prompt responses to client enquiries and attending client meetings as required.
  • Work closely with senior directors on large and complex fleet policies, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with third-party producing brokers and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Manage your own monthly renewal list in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring seamless policy renewals.
  • Comply with departmental operational procedures and performance targets, and contribute to the ongoing development of operational processes and team development.
  • Continuously seek to expand your technical skills to support the business and drive growth.
About You
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent, with a strong working knowledge of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance, including underlying legal principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the client market and insurance industry network, including the London Market and Lloyd's.
  • Excellent client service focus, with a customer-centric approach and strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, including due diligence in administration, policy documents, and processes.
  • Able to manage a busy workload in an organized and structured manner, with strong IT skills and proficiency in IBS, Excel, and e-file management.
  • Continually building your industry knowledge and seeking development, with a commitment to holding or working towards a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills
  • Aviation insurance knowledge, although not essential.
  • An interest in aviation, although not essential.
  • Previous experience of IBS risk processing platform.
  • Knowledge of WhiteSpace.
  • Additional European language skills, desirable.
