Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compressor Engineer to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical engineering systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and mechanical engineering systems.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Compressor Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar with compressed air experience.
  • Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
  • Service experience in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in refrigeration with FGas certification, air filtration, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, or similar associated compressor products.
  • A technical engineering degree or apprentice-trained background is advantageous.
