Hunter Selection is seeking a highly skilled Site Services Engineer to join our client's facilities and site services team. As a Site Services Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, and testing of all site services and infrastructure that supports manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, and testing of all site services and infrastructure that supports manufacturing
  • 75% Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and testing of systems, 25% reactive and breakdowns
  • Industrial boilers, steam systems, vacuum pumps, air compressors, driers
  • Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant, water and effluent management, refrigeration - CO2, Ammonia, and Glycol
  • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), facilities, chillers, utilities
  • Site services projects and continuous improvement work
  • Working on pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics

Requirements:

  • Must be a multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical fault finding skills
  • Dealt with pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • At least 5 years' experience outside of training/apprenticeship as a site services, utilities, or facilities engineer
  • Minimum NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualified
  • Must have completed some form of apprenticeship
  • Refrigeration experience - CO2, Ammonia, and Glycol
  • Beneficial if worked in high-care food manufacturing
  • Must have worked with industrial boilers
  • BOAS qualified
  • 17th or 18th Edition beneficial
