About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Income Officer to join our friendly and high-performing income management team. As an Income Officer, you will be responsible for income collection and providing guidance to customers on benefits and income maximisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a patch of around 1000 homes, developing relationships with customers and providing advice and support to those having difficulties with rent payments.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to come up with solutions and deliver the best customer experience possible.
  • Have a strong understanding of housing benefit, universal credit, and welfare reform legislation.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in an engaging and welcoming way.
  • Be a positive attitude and a consistent, engaged team player, proactive and able to prioritise your workload.
  • Have good IT skills, attention to detail, and an excellent work ethic.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
About Us

We are a housing association that owns and provides 46,000 homes for people who cannot access market housing. We have a strong balance sheet and plan to build 11,000 homes by 2030. Our 1,800 dedicated colleagues are committed to providing safe, secure, and affordable homes to our customers.
