At Chubb Fire & Security, we are excited to present an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to become a part of our Sales Team, focusing on the North West Region in a full-time, permanent capacity.

Role Overview

Assume responsibility for identifying potential clients within your target market and engaging them directly as well as through the Demand Generation Team. Identify the optimal fit for our Customer Value Proposition (CVP) and establish previously unrecognized needs with clients to instill urgency in their decision-making process. Conduct thorough research on prospects to pinpoint a compelling value proposition. Develop persuasive talking points that demonstrate the necessity for change to the prospect. Collaborate with various customer stakeholders and the Buying Team to enhance clarity and momentum in your proposals. Formulate strategies for targeted prospects, including value propositions, key stakeholder identification, and engagement tactics (LinkedIn, email, phone, events, etc.). Coordinate with Chubb Subject Matter Experts as needed to facilitate the progression of opportunities through the Sales Funnel. Apply the Chubb SIREN sales methodology effectively. Work in tandem with your sales team and support functions to share insights and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization. Utilize CRM tools to track and manage your performance. Meet your quarterly and annual sales margin and revenue objectives.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in business studies, marketing, psychology, or a related field is preferred. A clear sales methodology to support the creation, navigation, and securing of sales opportunities. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey both technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely. A proven history of success in new business development, supported by evidence of significant achievements from both self-generated and incoming leads. A creative mindset capable of devising innovative service and product combinations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure while adapting to new environments. Develop strategic business plans that include key milestones for success. Strong business acumen and adaptability across various markets and product sales. Experience in technical sales is advantageous. Experience within the fire industry is a plus. Commercial awareness is essential. Proficient IT skills, with advanced capabilities in Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, and PowerPoint. (Training is available) A valid driving license is required.

Additional Benefits

Competitive base salary up to £55,000 with an OTE of approximately £90,000 (uncapped). 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Company vehicle or car allowance.
