Resideo Security Group is on the lookout for a Junior Product Management Specialist to collaborate with the Category Manager in steering the strategic direction, product lineup, supplier partnerships, and overall growth for a significant product category. This role is pivotal in supporting the formulation and implementation of product assortment and pricing strategies while managing supplier interactions. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual eager to advance their career in Category Management within a leading global firm in Security, Fire, and Audio/Visual distribution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Category Manager to execute impactful marketing strategies that enhance category performance.
  • Initiate requests for modifications in the ERP system regarding stocking profiles, product life cycles, pricing adjustments, and necessary inventory actions to phase out obsolete items.
  • Conduct research on competitive product lines, market pricing, and technological advancements by working cross-functionally with Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Customers, and Vendors.
  • Initiate stock balancing actions for inactive, obsolete, and surplus products and implement inventory liquidation strategies for relevant categories.
  • Produce reports on sales performance, promotional success, inventory efficiency, and gross margin for associated categories.
  • Perform administrative tasks and respond to ad hoc requests as needed.
  • Engage with the sales team to gain insights into market trends and customer requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, or at least one year of experience in a related field (Product Management, Procurement, Supply Planning, or Inventory Management).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent or native proficiency in Czech or Slovak.
