Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Sustainability Officer to join our team at Coopman Search and Selection | B Corp™. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company meets its internal and external compliance obligations across all activities and regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Framework Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance framework that identifies and prioritizes high-risk areas, ensuring our company's compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Regulatory Obligations: Identify and ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including GDPR, EMIR, KYC, and other regulations applicable to our business operations.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with our HR team to design and deliver business-wide training programs on regulatory obligations, ensuring our employees are equipped to meet compliance standards.
  • ESG Framework Development: Establish and maintain an ESG framework that aligns with our company's values and goals, ensuring we meet the expectations of our stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Lead on ESG reporting requirements from financial institutions and prepare and deliver our company's Impact Assessment report.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing a compliance function, preferably in the power generation industry, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Reporting: Prior experience of reporting to regulatory bodies and submitting ESG reports to financial institutions.
  • ESG Expertise: Structured and developed ESG frameworks and policies, with a strong understanding of ESG reporting requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence stakeholders of varying levels, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch or German is a distinct advantage.
