Stott and May is collaborating with a prominent entity in the global travel and event management sector, recognized for its outstanding service and innovative, client-centric technology solutions.
We are in search of a dedicated Sustainability and Compliance Specialist to enhance our client's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. Reporting directly to the Sustainability and Compliance Manager, you will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance, Business Continuity, Environmental Management & CSR: Uphold the ISO-certified Integrated Management System, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Audit Participation: Engage in both internal and external audits, providing education to stakeholders and ensuring adherence to certification standards.
- Quality Monitoring: Assess and review products, services, and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and meet client expectations.
- Process Enhancement: Collaborate with various departments to revise manuals and develop quality enhancement strategies.
- Continuity Planning: Formulate and sustain plans to guarantee operational continuity during disruptions, in accordance with ISO 22301.
- Environmental Assessment: Evaluate and report on the organization’s ecological impact, implementing sustainable practices in line with ISO 14001.
- Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives: Partner with HR to advance initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion, community involvement, and ethical standards.
- Data Evaluation: Collect and analyze data related to quality, continuity, environmental, and social governance, producing reports to guide decision-making.
- Regulatory Adherence: Remain informed about relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices to ensure organizational compliance.
- Policy Formulation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of policies pertaining to governance areas.
- Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to raise employee awareness regarding the significance of these governance areas and their compliance roles.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in quality, environmental, and business continuity management.
- Relevant professional certifications in GRC, Quality, Environmental Management, or Business Continuity are advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data interpretation.
- Exceptional communication and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to quality, continuity, environmental, and social governance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to foster positive change.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, or German is a plus.
