We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Sustainability Officer to join our team at Coopman Search and Selection | B Corp™. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company meets its internal and external compliance obligations across all activities and regions.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Framework Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance framework for our business, focusing on high-risk areas and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
- Regulatory Obligations: Identify and prioritize compliance requirements, such as GDPR, EMIR, and KYC, and ensure our company follows these regulations in the jurisdictions we operate in.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with our HR team to develop business-wide training programs on relevant regulatory obligations.
- ESG Framework Development: Create an ESG framework tailored to our renewable energy production company, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Reporting and Compliance: Lead on ESG reporting requirements from financial institutions and prepare our company's Impact Assessment report.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing a compliance function, preferably in the power generation industry, and familiarity with regulations affecting firms in this space.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prior experience of reporting to regulatory bodies and submitting ESG reports to financial institutions.
- ESG Expertise: Structured and developed ESG frameworks and policies associated with ESG, and have a strong understanding of ESG reporting requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence stakeholders of varying levels, including senior executives and external partners.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch or German is a distinct advantage.
