About the Role

The Economist is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to lead its operations and enhance the pace at which it delivers on its mission. This key leadership role will provide critical support to the CEO and serve as a vital link with the company's Board of Directors and its sub-committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational delivery is adaptable, flexible, efficient, and integrated across all functional divisions.
  • Chair the Economist's Operations Committee and serve on other external/internal committees and Boards as determined by the CEO.
