About the Role

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide EHS Guidance and Support: Work closely with project teams to provide guidance and support on EHS matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and Maintain EHS Management Systems: Develop and implement effective EHS management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential EHS risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate these risks.
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees, clients, and contractors are aware of EHS procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and Maintain EHS Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years' Experience in EHS: Proven experience in EHS, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety: Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, with a strong understanding of EHS principles and practices.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, clients, and contractors.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
