About the Role

The Sr. Associate, Digital Solution Design – Envisioning role is part of the Network Delivery Intake & Envisioning team at American Express. This role will focus on supporting a team of Senior Envisioning Managers lead the Envisioning efforts for the Enterprise Payments Centre of Excellence priorities, working across Business and Technology teams to interpret business requirements into Agile Features for scrum teams to build and then implement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Envisioning Managers leading the envisioning efforts for the Enterprise Payments Centre of Excellence
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand and document business requirements, clarify development scope and associated business value, as well as dependencies
  • Analyse and document business processes and customer journeys
  • Support Senior Envisioning Managers to develop presentations materials for colleagues and Senior Leadership
  • Develop a technical understanding of the technical ecosystems supporting the Enterprise Payments Centre of Excellence

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly articulate complexities
  • Experience eliciting, articulating and documenting business requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills – ability to navigate cross functional teams to deliver on shared objectives
  • High intellectual curiosity, with excellent creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Driving results and collaborating in a cross-functional and global environment
  • Flexibility in supporting various time zones, as this role supports global initiatives
  • Great interpersonal skills, building and leveraging relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Account-to-Account Payments, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement, ATM, Tokenization and Payment processing
  • Experience with Agile Delivery Framework
