We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Hertfordshire Catering Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and managing the school meals service at Copthall secondary school, Mill Hill.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals, including special dietary requirements, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgeting to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Lead and motivate a team of catering staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Ensure compliance with food safety management systems, health and safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
- Develop and implement innovative menus and food concepts to meet the diverse needs of students and staff.
- Market and promote the catering service to drive sales and improve overall take-up of the food offer.
