Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer

Windsor Forest College Group is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join their team on a term-time, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the college community in safeguarding cases, working with external agencies, and attending meetings on behalf of the college.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding leaders to promote student wellbeing and a positive mindset.
  • Contribute to the administration of behaviour management procedures and assist in implementing an effective wellbeing strategy for staff and students.
  • Manage a caseload of students with varying support requirements and represent the college at external multiagency meetings.
  • Provide front-line wellbeing support for students and maintain clear communication and consistency of approach with other safeguarding teams.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external agencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Working Arrangements:

The role is a term-time, full-time position, working 42 weeks per year. The successful candidate will be required to work on a rota basis as the designated safeguarding officer.
