Job Description

Resource Matters Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Team Leader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to the engineering team to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently to meet production targets.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working order and meet safety standards.
  3. Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to a high standard and that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced.
  4. Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures and regulations.
  5. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on team performance to ensure that targets are being met and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
Requirements:
  • Essential: Completed formal apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable: Proven experience of leading a team of engineers and technicians.
