Position Overview:
A prominent global food production company is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to enhance their team.

In addition to a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £85,000 annually, you will benefit from 27 days of annual leave and contributions to your pension.

You will be an integral part of the Systems Development division, which is responsible for software creation and support, utilizing various technologies to ensure the continuous availability of business systems.

Collaborating with our current Development and Support Team, you will assist in maintaining existing software while also having the chance to innovate and create new software solutions using diverse technologies and methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to gain insights into current systems
- Analyze business needs and formulate implementation strategies
- Assist in the commissioning of systems
- Develop and rigorously test high-quality software in line with established team practices and tools
- Provide support for both existing and new business applications
- Report on progress of work
Qualifications:
- Strong IT proficiency
- Degree in software engineering or a related field with substantial commercial experience
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of engaging with personnel at all levels
- Proficient in ASP.NET WebForms
- Experience with C# .Net
- Familiarity with Angular JS, JavaScript, web APIs, and SQL
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Exceptional time management and communication abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
